Surgery Recovery Update

I made it!! My biggest fear with this surgery was something happening or going wrong, and I have four little babies at home! I'm at a private hospital facility and the nurses have all gone crazy over photos of the quads. They could barely believe it!

Now that I made it out, I just need to concentration on healing. I have tiny tubes draining excess fluid from the incision, right where my c-section scar is. They are annoying but hopefully I won't have to have them long.

My mom says the babies had a good day and they went to bed like a charm. Which is great, because last night Trystan decided to get up at 3am! The babies rarely do this and sleep 12 hours like rock stars, but for some reason Trystan didn't feel like being a star. Eventually, I fed her a little and got her back to sleep but had to get up 20 minutes later at 5am to get ready for the hospital. With only three hours of sleep, I've been conked out most of the day today! I'm sure the drugs have nothing to do with it. ;)

Thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers, it means so much and I'm so grateful to have come through and now have the surgery behind me. Look fore more updates once I get home plus a super funny guest post on Saturday!
